without comments

If you are an avid paintball player, then you probably realize the importance of maintaining paintball equipment and most importantly, the paintball gun. Paintball is a fast paced game and having your equipment break down during a heated match can be a real enthusiasm buster. With proper care, your paintball equipment can be very dependable and ready to go for any match. Taking a few minutes to properly care and clean your gun can save you a lot of trouble later on down the road.

You should be able to take your gun apart and put it back together with ease. It is very important to be familiar with your paintball gear and how each part operates. If you are familiar with the breakdown of the gun, then you will more than likely be able to repair a problem that might occur in the middle of a game. It is also very helpful to learn the names of the different parts that make up your gun. This is important when you are in need of replacement parts.

While paintball can be a lot of fun, it can also wreak havoc on your paintball gun. All of the dirt and grime that is out on the paintball field not only gets you and your clothes filthy, it also effects your equipment. The best advice is to clean your gun each and every time it is used because all of the crevices and openings get filled with all of this dirt and can sabotage your game. Cleaning the gun and its parts will not only keep it working efficiently, but will add years to its functioning life. It is also very important that you lubricate the inside workings. Lubrication is important for the parts to move properly, but please note that only oil or silicone that is made specifically for gun parts should be used.

While you may really enjoy playing paintball, you may not enjoy the chores such as cleaning your paintball gun. While it may be somewhat time consuming, it is necessary. Think of it as cleaning your investment. You want your equipment to be in good working order and ready to use when you are ready to play. If you are properly cleaning and caring for your gun, then it should give you many years of “playing time.” So, take the time to properly care for your gun so that you can be ready for the next big game.
